Classic, beautiful Japanese paper lantern. More beautifully made than throw-away equivalents, light is thrown from a suprisingly powerful LED light powered simply by AA batteries. You will enjoy these lamps for years to come. As it is cordless, you can use it anywhere, for instance, on the table for dinner, as a reading light in the bed room, or for taking a walk at night. Batteries will last approximately 100 hours, simply change when the light begins to dim. We recommend using re-chargeable batteries to make this light a truly renewable resource. Made in Japan using traditional methods from Washi paper, wire and wood. Comes in a lovely box with two AA batteries.
