Description from House of Hackney
An intricate geometric print that conjures up a sense of traditional Eastern design, Mey Meh was inspired by the pattern of a 17th century woven Mey Meh rug discovered in Liberty’s Oriental rug department. Featuring a rich and warm colour palette, typical of the dyes used by the artisans who have created these hand-woven carpets for generations, this beautiful print has been reworked as a perfect repeat for our interiors collection. The print is available across the interiors collections.

Our beautiful British velvet is made from the finest quality cotton and printed with our iconic prints in a variety of dark, rich colours. Crafted on a loom by weaving two pieces of fabric face-to-face, then cutting them apart, creates a lavishly soft-to-the-touch finish that’s resilient to everyday wear and tear. Our velvets are suitable for curtains and blinds, furniture and soft furnishings. Typically a wintertime material, keep velvet feeling contemporary by mixing with other lighter fabrics, such as smooth cotton and crisp linen.
