Description from The Line
Handloomed amid the mountains and abundant pine trees of Central Mexico, this thick, striped blanket is made from a blend of rustic virgin and Merino wools. The natural, undyed, and untreated fibers come from sheep that roamed the same terrain. Traditionally used as a sarape in Mexico’s colder climes, a fringed blanket such as this one would also be worn by vaqueros—or cowboys—while riding at night. It also works as a rug or queen-sized bed cover.
