Description from Quitokeeto
This apron, a collaboration with San Francisco-based Small Trade Company, was made for us to wear while working in our Mason Street studio. We wanted something special to wear each day, a garment able to protect our clothes while packing boxes or unpacking crates, but also nice enough to welcome friends to lunch, or to sit down for a glass of rosé. And we thought it made sense to make a few extra.
It is made from beautiful washed Japanese cotton twill in a soft shade of pearly oyster, calling to mind pale beaches, limestone, fog, and sea shells. The fabric drapes softly, is tough but beautiful, and will only grow softer with wear and washing – although it is wonderfully soft to start.
We designed the apron around the idea of a low tie. It allows the apron to be worn full (and dress like) around the hips, or wrapped around the waist more snugly if you desire. The neck ties are adjustable for an individual fit. Discreet, roomy pockets at each hip allow you to keep whatever you need–phone, pencil, lipstick–with you as you work.
Care: Each apron has been pre-washed. Machine wash using a gentle detergent, and tumble dry on low heat. Use a warm iron if needed.
- One size.
- Made in San Francisco.
