Description from The Line
“Probably one of the most private things in the world is an egg until it is broken,” wrote M.F.K. Fisher. Allow yours to go public on the proper pedestal: a white porcelain egg cup from Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) Berlin. Founded in 1763 by Prussian king Frederick the Great, the royal porcelain manufactory still manufactures classic dinnerware and porcelain accessories by hand. This egg cup is from the clean-lined Urania dinner service, designed in 1938 by Trude Petri.
