The Shakers at the Pleasant Hill, Kentucky community developed a distinctive style of furniture making illustrated by the decorative molding at the top edge of this otherwise very simple cupboard. The use of adjustable hangers at the back was one of their innovations. This oversized cupboard will be particularly useful in the kitchen or bath. Includes one shelf adjustable in 1″ increments. The original is in the collection of Shakertown in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky.
We make the Kentucky Wall Cupboard in clear cherry throughout. Height is 21″. Width 29 3/4″. Depth 9 3/4″. Overall height is 26″ (including hangers). Shown in Oil & Wax Finish.
