Description from Tambur
Beautiful and timeless crystal carafe, sometimes even referred to as Linnaeus or Paris Carafe. The carafe, which holds a total of 2.2 liters, lifts each fabric to new heights and turns into a beautiful piece of jewelry on the dinner table. Filled with flowers, the carafe also works like a stomach vase.
The carafe is mouth-blown on a small glass mill in the Czech Republic in the district of Bohemia. The region is known as the Czech glass kingdom, and it has been in the process of extensive glass manufacturing since the 1300s. In the forest-rich Bohemia there was a lot of fuel for glass huts. Two other important components of glass making, sand and limestone are also found naturally in the surroundings.
