Stints as a vintage furniture dealer and an in-house restorer at Chicago’s Wright auction house trained Jonathan Nesci’s eye and his hand. The designer, who opened his own studio in 2006, distills his knowledge of line, proportion, and construction into meticulous forms that eliminate all unnecessary elements. His 4G Shelf is sculpted out of wax-polished aluminum.
