Description from White Flower Farm
The subtle coloration of these long, elegantly tapered and pointed leaves — antique red and dusky chartreuse veined in red — provides the background for more flamboyant container companions. And, because this new Ipomoea series was bred to be bushy and compact, with short trailing stems, the plants won’t overwhelm their neighbors. 'Fnpalrusrd' PP 21,741
Plant Ipomoea batatas in full sun or partial shade (foliage color here in Litchfield and in hot areas of the West is best on plants that receive afternoon shade). Average garden soil is fine. Sweet Potatoes require ample moisture and sulk at the first hint of drought.
