Description from Local Cluster
Anyone who frequents the coasts of South Carolina has stumbled upon a horseshoe crab at one time or another. Though intimidating at first sight, these gentle creatures are considered “living fossils”, having been in existence for over 450 million years. You can find their molted shells scattered along the wave lines and flats throughout the summer months. Nothing says Lowcountry like one of these hanging on your gallery wall or framed in a shadow box. Sizes may vary. Custom color available upon request.
