Description from Kaufmann Mercantile
Hole & Corner is an English publication with a passion for craft and the people who make things – furniture, food, gardens, instruments, jewelry, books, clothing, motorbikes – that matter. Issue #2; 146 pages.
The mission statement of this British-based publication is as considered and carefully crafted as the stories within its pages: A magazine about “people who spend more time doing than talking, for whom content is more important than style; people whose work is their life – stories of dedication.”
Issue 02 focuses on finding balance, following experts and enthusiasts alike – all passionate about craft. Articles include features on wood type, rare books, sustainable surfboards and (almost) everything in between. Whether speaking with an architect and “incidental astronomer” who makes telescopes in his signature fire engine red, or surveying the history of the ukulele, each piece is sure to leave readers more curious and inspired than when they first opened the magazine.
