Description from KonMari
Product Information
Donabes are used for cooking countless dishes throughout Japan — and they’re also one of Marie’s favorite ways to prepare a delicious dinner for her family! Traditionally made from clay, donabes hold heat longer than other cooking vessels, resulting in a more consistent texture and flavorful dish. This donabe, called a hagama, is made specifically for steaming rice. Once prepared, it can be carried from the stove and placed in the center of the table as a beautiful serving vessel. After tasting the resulting grains, you might never use an electric rice cooker again!
Dimensions: 8.3″ Dia x 7.1″ H
Materials: Ceramic
Care & Use Instructions:
Hand wash with mild soap and dry thoroughly with cloth. Do not place in dishwasher.
The donabe is made to be used only over direct flame and electric stoves, and is not suitable for induction cooktops. Also, do not use in microwave.
