These cushions are filled with natural kapok fibers. Kapok is a soft, natural, and hypoallergenic fiber that comes from the fruit of the Kapok tree. From the picking and shelling of Kapok to the weaving of the fabric, each cushion is made entirely by hand by West African artisans.
Tensira’s pillows are made from 100% cotton that has been hand-spun, hand-woven, and hand-dyed using traditional looms within the Tensira workshop in West Africa.
