A Christmas tree holder that works as well as it looks. It’s made of grey cast iron molds which are tightly filled, giving the casting its fine structure The high carbon component contributes a beautiful silver grey color, which is enhanced by treating the surface with graphite. The inside is painted with zinc, protecting the holder from rusting. The Christmas tree holder weighs 12 kg and, when filled with water, will hold a very tall tree; the trunk is held by a spike in the bottom of the holder and is centered with three heavy brass screws.
