This table features a thick white oak tabletop whose visage is carefully composed to enhance and highlight the natural knots, cracks, rough patches, and unevenness of the wood. It is set atop textured steel legs that are shaped into beautiful, curved lines.
At first glance, the table looks unrefined, but the intricacy of its details – like those found on the shelf mount below – give it charm. Brass-cut slotted screws secure the planks of the shelf and the rounded-head bolts that fix the tabletop to the legs acquire an antique, glossy look the more that they are touched over time.
