Traditional aluminum picker, produced by a family-owned factory in northern Portugal. Both charming and funny, this piece is usually called “fruit burglar”. A must in the country houses with an orchard, it also makes a stroll around any garden a lot more rewarding: carry it in your hand, holding the lower part that functions as a handle, and raise it to the branches of any tree loaded with fruit. The sharp lower points of the top part will help cut the stem through which it is attached to the tree and the fruit will land inside the central hole, that works as a container. Try it will an apple tree or any other that crosses your way. And say “yum”!
