Formagenda – Cohiba Pendant Lamp

The minimalistic shape of the Cohiba pendant lamp is complemented by the material selection (resistant cowhide). The really wakeful, horizontally floating object thereby spreads a warm, pleasant feeling. The object reveals the finest handicraft as if it was a hand-rolled cigarette – and as soon as that the room will be full of a really special life-enjoyment and a hint of Cuba.

The lamp, named after its eponymous cigarette Cohiba was honoured with the Design Plus Award 2008 and nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic Germany 2009. The designer Benjamin Hopf used leather and aluminium as material for his lamp.

Cohiba is available in different technical and colour variants: A T5 fluorescent light tube or a dimmable edition of it with 4 x G9 halogen illuminants can be used as illuminant. Formagenda has different accent leather, sewings and cable colours to offer.
