Description from Claybrook
Product Information
These mosaics are the same width as others like the Argilla or Castello, but longer that gives a slimmer overall appearance. The terracotta kit-kat style looks great as kitchen splashbacks or can even be used on the floor in hallways or bathrooms for a unique feel.
Made from a unique Italian clay called Galestro. This clay is only found near Florence, in the valleys off the Ema and Greve rivers.
A distinctive coloured terracotta. These mosaics feature a brushed surface and tumbled edge, creating a beautifully varied surface texture.
Samples are not sealed.
Requires the surface salts removing, before being sealed. The recommended products are Ema Easy Remover and Ema Easy Sealer. In some cases the additonal application of Ema Easy Wax, further protects the floor and makes it easier to clean. Please refer to the Claybrook Terracotta Installation Guide for guidance.
We strongly recommend an experienced Terracotta fitter is employed.
Tiles should be unpacked and dry laid prior to installation to ensure any natural variation, between sheets is evenly distributed across the floor or wall.
If you are not using the Ardex FL grout that we recommend and sell, please test your chosen grout on the tile surface before installing.
