Measured absurdity + abstract functionalism = The Moooi Dear Ingo Suspension. Created by fantastical modern designer Ron Gilad, Dear Ingo consists of 16 adjustable task lamps affixed to a steel ring that is hung by a steel suspension cable. The attention-grabbing, arachnid-esque Dear Ingo is part of the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. It’s been called kooky; beautiful and bizarre; a hybrid object that sits on the fat delicious line between the abstract and the functional.

Moooi creates modern pendant lighting, lamps, and a unique array of suspension lighting. Founded by Marcel Wanders and first presented in 2001, Moooi creates products that satisfy the customers’ desire for individual style, and features designers such as Ross Lovegrove and Erwin Olaf.
