Crate Chair Junior
In 1934, Rietveld made the first crate furniture out of ‘crate wood’. This was his way of recycling crate wood packaging material. During the economic crisis of the 1930’s people wasted nothing!
Revolutionary at the time, the crate chair can be purchased as a flat pack and is available in various colors.
Each chair is supplied with a chip, number and matching certificate. Produced by the Rietveld Foundation.
