Description from Alder & Co.
These hearts are inspired by the milagros sold in front of Basilica de la Soledad in Oaxaca, Mexico to offer for Our Lady of Guadalupe. They are both a means of employment for local Oaxacan women and a creative way for the company to repurpose the smallest colorful scraps from clothing production.

After moving to the United States from South Korea, Christina Kim started Dosa, a label inspired by handcrafted materials and traditional textile techniques from around the world. As a cornerstone of Dosa, content is rigorously considered. The materials that go into each garment are specifically organic, naturally-dyed, hand-loomed and employ hand-stitching. Silhouettes are based on vernacular uniforms from across the world, particularly India. The focus for the collection is to create pieces that are versatile, functional and travel easily.
