Designed by Umbra Shift and Harry Allen, they are hand-woven over a rattan core — a design method inspired by traditional basket-making techniques of the Philippines. The result is a stylish perch that’s not unlike a tractor seat. Forget the country cornfields, however: Suited for a bedroom, bathroom or living room, they contribute to a very modern panorama.
