The Chemex is excellent for those who don’t like the sediment in their coffee that the french press method inevitably leaves behind. It also makes a great conversation piece when we have company over.

This model replaces the classic wooden collar with a glass handle for easy pouring. It actually has another convenience in that you don’t need to remove the wooden collar for cleaning. We recently switched to a model with a handle and the convenience of not having to remove the wooden collar before cleaning streamlines the coffee making process and really makes a big difference.
