The Ceramic Works for Table series is the result of a collaboration between designer Osamu Saruyama (guillemet layout studio ) , potter Iyama Mikiko, responsible for production direction, and the well known Oya-gama, Kiln located in Hagi, Yamaguchi prefecture.
The pottery will gradually change color over time as it absorbs various liquids. The pleasure of a seeing a favorite piece take on a different character is both expected and appreciated in Japan and should not be viewed as a defect.
