The Berea College Cake Tester is an ode to the past that embodies our college commitment to mindful and sustainable living. Composed of the stiffer topmost bristles chopped from the broomcorn used in the creation of the Handy Broom, our cake testers allow you to reach culinary perfection while furthering the cause for a cleaner future.

This year we have re-envisioned the Cake Tester with a beautiful handle, that surrounds the hand rolled broomcorn “testers”, woven of natural broom stalks.
