The shape of our Usk roll top bath is based on a classic 18th century bateau bath design, known popularly as a ‘boat bath’. Retaining it’s elegance accross the centuries, it is an elegant shape that fits perfectly into traditonal and contemporary bathroom schemes.
The copper Usk has been wrapped in sheets of pure copper, hand-pressed onto the raw cast iron to give it the same durability of a cast iron bath, but with the look of a traditional copper bath.
The burnished copper Usk has been treated with a specialist product we have developed to accelerate the natural aging process of the copper, making it appear darker and duller. We brush this on by hand, making each bath unique.
