Product Information
Designed as a dedication to and in the spirit of the often overlooked women of the Bauhaus movement, our Benita Napkins are an ode to Benita Koch-Otte. Benita Koch-Otte attended the Bauhaus from 1920 to 1925. As an essential part of the weaving department, she pushed back against the understanding of textiles as a feminine craft. To this day, she’s widely respected for her design of the kitchen at the 1923 Haus am Horn in Weimar.
Our block printed napkin is hand printed on a cotton/linen textile. Sold in a set of four.
