Beautifully designed bathroom stools by well known product designer Makoto Koizumi. Artisans in Kiso individually craft each stool from Kiso hinoki wood, cutting fine nicks into the surface, carefully curving the wood, and applying a waterproof bond. The hinoki is not only highly durable and water resistant, but also pleasantly fragrant. Since each stool is made by hand, some nicks and bond applications may appear uneven.
