The frame is made of bamboo and the cover is hand knitted tea dyed sisal from Swaziland. This sisal is handmade by local women in collaboration with the Gone Rural project. The sisal nets’ production is part of the project and gives the women a place to work. The lamp comes with a 2,5 meter long black hanging system with a ceramic fitting, suitable for E27 screw light bulb of max. 60W (lamp not included in the set).
