The Artisans Solidaires Kasserine use skills passed down over generations and techniques endemic to western Tunisia to weave local halfa grass, also known as esparto, into minimalist area rugs. After dying the grass with natural colorants like turmeric, the craftswomen use a loom to flat-weave the fibers into a durable, attractive kilim rug that fits effortlessly into the contemporary home.

• 70% halfa, 30% wool
• Flatweave kilim in chambray blue
• 3′ x 5′ is shipped in a tube separate from other items
• Slight variation in color
• Care: Clean regularly with a vacuum. Hand wash using water and soap. Do not wash in washing machine. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. To remove loose ends, clip them with scissors. Do not pull loose ends.
