The Baba Tree Basket Co. is the supplier of quality, hand woven African baskets made by artisans.
Made from all natural materials and woven in Bolga by Baba Tree’s incredible artisan weavers, these unique African Baskets are available in various colours and sizes.
“Apika” is the word for ‘small’ in the Gurune language that is spoken in and around Bolgatanga, Ghana.
These woven baskets were made by Amoah Asamba – one of the finest hat weavers in Bolgatanga – using the smaller, more delicate, straw that grows locally and is used for weaving hats.
These are gorgeous handwoven baskets that can be used to store a myriad of small, valuable things.
