There are four basic shapes for all wine bottles: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhine and Champagne. To contain and cool these different shapes up to the neck, Gozzis research came up with two different Coolers, which both demonstrate his very close attention to practical use. The body is of different thicknesses: thicker at the bottom and on the edge in order to avoid dents. The handles have been studied (together with the edges, which are fully lined) to ensure a perfect grip with a single hand; it holds two bottles; its depth means the bottles can be immersed right up to the neck; lastly, they can be stacked. The 5052 Cooler is suitable for two Bordeaux or two Burgundy or two Champagne bottles.
