Olive oil has been a passion that has long paralleled our involvement in wine. For nearly 20 years, Stephen was an importer of superb Italian oils, so it was only natural that Tuscan olive trees became part of the Baker Lane estate.

We are thrilled to present for the first time very limited quantities of two brilliantly fresh, expertly milled 2015 oils from Baker Lane. With their lush green fruit and spicily focused flavors, they are proof that cool climate, sustainably farmed olive oil from Sonoma can join the world’s best in becoming an indispensable part of a delicious table.

The Occidental Blend is our first oil from a superbly tended 20 year old orchard on a beautiful farm on Occidental Road just north of us in Sebastopol. It’s exquisite fruit is matched with a lively but mild finish, creating a sense of balance that makes it applicable where the oil subtly adds to the richness of the dish without lording over it.
