Designers Xander Vervoort and Leon van Boxtel founded interior design studio x+l in 1996 in Amsterdam, a studio known for its organic modern approach (we’ve had our eye on them for a while now). A couple of years ago they launched an online shop where they sell limited editions of handmade objects, furniture, lighting, khadi textiles, perfumes. The two founders work with a group of artisan friends to produce their line; “We embrace the imperfect,” they say. “Being able to see the human touch is an extra.” See the full line at x+l.
