Graphic designer Cayla Ferari and engineer John Breznicky set out on a hunt for modern artwork showing the grid of the New York city subway. When their search was unsuccessful, they hit the drawing board and came up with their own version. The painting became so popular among their friends that within a short period of time they opened Lineposter, an online shop selling poster art of city transit systems.
