Since our first foray into techno toilets and bidets in 2016, many add-on bidet seats have since come to market. Now, a Japanese level of bathroom hygiene is more accessible and accepted stateside. Here is a roundup of the latest options to turn your regular toilet into a water-washing, seat-warming, air-drying, self-cleaning robot.

N.B.: Our list is made up of non-electric and electric models alike, depending on the location of a bathroom outlet. The key difference between the two options is heating: non-electric seats wash with cool water direct from the pipes while electric seats have the potential for warm water and seat warming.
