Tabletop: Children’s Plates from Chigo

September 16, 2011

Years ago, I bought a set of wooden lacquered bowls in Japan that were one of those things that my friends forever coveted. Japanese company Chigo, which makes products specifically for children, recently launched a line of similar bowls in a child-pleasing palette. Made from maple with a natural, non-toxic lacquer finish, the Children’s Plates are available in blue, white, and yellow in a trio of sizes ranging from small to large (£15.24, £23.71, and .£35.57, respectively) from Yaginoyama.
