To inaugurate our new Tablescapes series, we invited Gwyneth Paltrow to collaborate on a spring table setting in London. The concept? A fresh take on traditional, with a palette of white, pale pink, lilac, robin's egg blue, and a bit of black here and there. We began our sleuthing at Rose Uniacke on the Pimlico Road in Chelsea, where we found a rustic, rough-hewn antique wood table to function as our blank canvas. Next we headed to Summerill & Bishop in Notting Hill, where we picked up glassware and linens; then to the Oxford countryside, where we dropped in on Deborah Sears at Isis Ceramics and came away with a set of delftware dinnerware. Finally, we phoned up Inga at LinenMe for table linens, and then headed down the street to source blooms from neighborhood florist Wild at Heart. For details on recreating the look, see below.

Above: A Terra Off-White Hemstitched Linen Runner by LinenMe (laid out quickly, fold marks still present) anchors the table. The Fog Linen Apron is from Summerill & Bishop in London and the Linen Union Tea Towel is from Thornback & Peel.
Above: Tall beeswax and white tapered candles add height and elegance. A Knitted Cream Cashmere Blanket from Rose Uniacke is draped on a vintage Danish Mogens Koch Folding Chairs (made of beech, leather, and canvas) available from Rose Uniacke. The pair of upholstered Tub Chairs and the Hand-Blown Glass Lantern are from Uniacke's own line of furniture and lighting.
Above: We sourced a dozen Wooden Hen Eggs from Woodworks Craft Supplies in the UK (also available at Factory Direct in the US) and painted them in shades of Duck Egg and Graphite from Fired Earth; the eggs sit atop a nest of gray moss (Pottery Barn offers similar ornamental Spanish Moss). The antique silver egg cups are from Uniacke's personal collection.
Above: The delftware Musical Monkey plates are from Deborah Sears' Signature Collection for Isis Ceramics; the Hand-Beaten Silver Tumblers are from Rose Uniacke and the France Wineglass and the France Champagne Flute are from Summerill & Bishop. The Personalized Ceramic Egg placeholder is from Yellow Moon in the UK (also available from Ceramic Eggs in the US).
