Storage: Rebar Shelving by Mizner Design in Austin

June 15, 2010

Austin-based architect Derek Mizner fabricates industrial-looking shelving using rebar (reinforcing steel bars used to make concrete structures) and red oak. Mizner Design Shelving units measure 77 inches tall, 48 inches wide, and 14 inches deep and cost $800 (if the rusted look isn’t for you, the frame can be powder-coated; acrylic or glass shelves are also available). Go to Mizner Design for ordering information.
