One of our favorite Vancouver projects is from architects David and Susan Scott of Scott & Scott Architects: a ski house at Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver with a living room constructed of concrete and shades of light wood. The ensemble of Scandinavian furniture, layered textiles, and warm color is one we’d like to replicate and could see ourselves hibernating in all winter long. Here is a list of similar sources.
