In 2015 Ellen Prasse and Kate Oliver bought a vintage Airstream trailer and renovated it over the course of 125 work days (completed in March 2016) with a total spend of $30,000, including the cost of the Airstream. Working in the tightest quarters imaginable, Ellen and Kate created a custom kitchen with budget fixtures, compact appliances, custom counters, and quality accessories. Here’s a look at their sources; for more see The Modern Caravan: A Vintage Airstream Transformed.
