Owned by a mother-daughter team, Merchant House High Desert is situated in the Mohave, about 20 minutes from Joshua Tree. The house, a 1950s Spanish-style ranch house, opens into a front porch designed with Moroccan-inspired textiles, Japanese vintage furniture, and ceramic wind chimes. The look can be adapted for both indoor and outdoor spaces; here is a look at the key elements with sources to match.
