On a recent trip to New York, I swung by the new Marimekko shop at Crate & Barrel; founders Gordon and Carole Segal first discovered the line on a trip to Denmark in the 1960s; so the new shop-within-a-shop in SoHo is a homecoming of sorts (the collection will be available online in spring 2011). Of special interest: the well-priced upholstery fabrics, the In Good Company Line of ceramics, and the array of throw pillows. Go to Crate & Barrel for location information.
