Shopper’s Diary: Jasper Morrison’s Shop in London

October 15, 2009

One of our favorite UK-based designers, Jasper Morrison, has taken an unused corner of his office in London and opened up a retail outlet called Shop, featuring a changing roster of pieces selected for their "utiliarian qualites and built-in long-term performance." Morrison’s own designs are displayed alongside classics admired by Morrison—an enamelled steel garden shovel, for instance. His latest exhibit, Jugs, Jars, and Pitchers (shown below), coincided with the recent London Design Festival. The shop is located at 24b Kingsland Road; go to Jasper Morrison for more information.
