Shopper’s Diary: Holler & Squall in Brooklyn

October 9, 2009

The latest addition to the Atlantic Avenue shopping scene: Holler & Squall, which opened recently in Cobble Hill (near Hicks Street). Owners Zachariah and Gillette Wing spent years collecting and making furniture before opening their own shop filled with “collectible oddities and antique industrial pieces.” The store is open on Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment (call 347-405-3734).

N.B.: The couple made the rustic shelves from re-planed lumber; similar shelving is available by commission.
