The stars align: In Vincent Van Duysen: Private (Rizzoli), with images by legendary interiors photographer François Halard, the architect/designer invites us to take a closer look into his two residences: his now-iconic home in Antwerp, located in a centuries-old former notary office, and his newer personal project, his ground-up vacation house Casa M in Portugal.

We first reported on the Belgian architect/designer back in 2011 (see Architect Visit: Vincent Van Duysen Kitchens) and since then we’ve followed his every move (see all our posts in our Lookbook). And in 20 Questions: Julianne Moore and Vincent Van Duysen Talk Design, the actress/activist/design savant says, “He’s my absolute favorite designer. He’s been tremendously inspirational to me. I literally steal from him, and he knows that!”

To see more of his work, go to Vincent Van Duysen; and head over to François Haylard to see more of his interiors photography.
