Remodelista + SAY Media

Remodelista SAY Media portrait 3

When we started Remodelista a few short years ago, our mission was to share our passion for home design and create an online resource guide to remodeling. Our mantra has remained consistent: every detail in your house is worthy of careful consideration, whether it's a cabinet pull or a bath sink. We feel lucky that so many well-versed readers have joined us on our digital design journey, often clueing us in to new products, designers, and architects.

We began blogging in 2007 with three posts a week, which seemed impressive at the time; since then, the site has evolved to include Remodelista Daily (with five posts a day), the Remodelista Architect/Designer Directory, and the Remodelista Design Newsstand. Last December, we launched our first Remodelista Local Market in the Bay Area and went on to hold markets in Seattle; Portland, OR; and Los Angeles. It's been exciting, rewarding—and sometimes (truthfully) a lot of hard work.

In the last few weeks we've been discussing ways to expand our reach even further with the talented group at SAY Media in San Francisco, a dynamic digital media company that believes in the power of individual voices on the web. We're pleased to announce that, as of today, we'll be joining SAY, where we will continue to refine and expand our offerings. We look forward to this new phase in our evolution and hope you will join us.

N.B. Check out our new Shelter Channel on the SAY 100.
