The countdown begins: On Tuesday, January 24, we'll be launching a redesigned, re-engineered Remodelista. Here's a sneak peek.

(N.B.: On Monday, January 23, we'll be down intermittently between 6 and 11pm, while we prepare for the launch. Please excuse the construction downtime.)

You might remember our questionnaire of a couple of months ago, asking for reader feedback. We took careful note of your comments, suggestions, and observations and have been working behind-the-scenes to get the next major version of the site ready. Here are some of the features to look forward to:

  • City Guides: If you're planning a trip, you can now see all our shops, restaurants, and hotels, grouped by city.
  • Bigger images: See more details in high-resolution images.
  • Add your comment: We've changed our comments server so you can now add feedback directly under each post.
  • Responsive design: The site layout will adapt to whatever device you're using, whether it's an iPad, iPhone, or laptop.

We know that any change, even for the better, is difficult at first; we look forward to hearing from you as you get to know the new site.
