London-based weaver and artist Amy Revier clued us in to Once Milano, a tabletop and bed linens company founded by design enthusiasts Allegra Marchiorello and Valeria Piovesana Thompson, longtime friends who live in London but are originally from small towns near Venice, Italy.
For their bedding and table linens, the duo uses flax grown in northern Italy, which is prized for its strength and absorbency. A seasonally changing selection of bedding, quilts, throws, and table linens is available from their tiny storefront near Piccadilly Circus, as well as online and at a few shops around the world (in the US, select pieces are available from Bloom in Sag Harbor and Garde in Los Angeles). Here are some favorites from the collection.
