Object of Desire: John Pawson’s Minimalist Oil Lantern for Wastberg

We’re longtime fans of John Pawson, so when we learned he had designed an oil lamp for another favorite–Swedish lighting company Wastberg—we took note. Wastberg is exploring the idea of nonelectric lighting in its Holocene collection; Pawson’s design is the fourth in the series (we’ve previously posted on Ilse Crawford’s Holocene No. 1 Oil Lamp). Here’s a look:
